Savrec Limited trading as Savant Recruitment (Savant) takes the privacy of our users very seriously and is committed to high standards of data privacy, security and transparency. Savant complies with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR). We are committed to the principles that:

Personal information is information that identifies you as an individual such as your name, date of birth or email address. The types of information about candidates which reside in our company files can include, but is not limited to: contact details, professional profiles, education and work experience. The majority of personal information you provide to us freely when you give us your CV or job cover letter for a job application. We may also collect information from our website, publicly available information and other tools and applications.

The personal information we gather will be used by us in the following ways:

 

  • To provide our services to you, and maintain our business relationship, whether you are a user of our website, a client or candidate;
  • To assess data about you for vacancy matching;
  • To send information to clients in order to apply for jobs on your behalf;
  • To enable you to submit your CV and to subscribe to job alerts;
  • To answer your enquiries;
  • To send you details of events and reports we think might be of interest to you where you have consented to being contacted;
  • In conjunction with third parties to provide services that you or our client have requested, e.g. references or skills tests;
  • It may also be shared with our external third-party service providers. Examples include but is not limited to: accountants, auditors, payroll service providers, data storage and cloud providers;
  • We may release personal information with governmental regulatory or law enforcement agencies if they require us to do so.

 

All of our candidate data is drawn from lawful sources and is stored in our applicant tracking systems. We will delete any candidate data from our systems where there has not been meaningful contact between Savant and the individual for four years or more.

If you do not agree to our processing of your data in the manner outlined in this Privacy Policy, please do not submit any personal data to us.
