Savant Technology secured me a Programme Manager opportunity on a large Digital
Transformation Programme with multiple stakeholders as well as 3rd parties, making the programme challenging and complex.
Why Savant Technology? Savant were able to build a team of specialists that were able to integrate into key phases of the programme, working with and complementing the end client, various 3rd parties and off-shore development teams. Savant have a deep technical understanding of their vertical markets and I found they were able to provide the support and expertise where necessary. If help was ever needed, I always felt Savant were a phone call away, or more than willing to attend site meetings.
Personal Approach? As an employer you’re bombarded by phone calls from agencies, as a contractor it sometimes feels like the phone never rings, or your calls are never returned until an agency wants something. Savant strike the right balance, keeping all informed and engaged during the process.
From the initial stage of engaging with Savant you feel like you’re on a journey, not just a single placement. This becomes evident with the amount of time and effort that Savant continually invests in understanding the individual and broader project scope, this is compounded further as Savant contractors and team members collaborate and support each other on larger engagements. Value Add? It is refreshing to work with a recruitment expert that reinvests in its contractors, more so where it provides free training for softer skills, such as in emotional intelligence. Of course, it is mandatory for candidates to have the technical skills and experience, but softer skills provide the more rounded candidates and thereby increases the longevity and success of placements. Personally, I see this as having the vision to think beyond the single engagement, instead it seeks to develop and nurture longer term relationships. This is certainly one factor that sets Savant far above the typical recruitment agency.
