Currently an Audit & Accounts Senior in a 3 Partner 25 Staff practice doing a 50:50 Audit:Accounts split role.

This candidate leads audits from planning to completion for smaller audits; but on larger audits, the majority of planning is done by engagement partner to keep it efficient.

Current firm mainly specialises in property audit with parent companies and subsidiaries and audit work involves whole group companies so average fees for group are £50k to £100K with turnover of above £25M.

Most recent position:

• Prepared, reviewed and finalised draft financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, small companies and LLPs, having turnover up to 25 million. Accounting clients were related to Property companies, Automobile repairs, Farms and service charge accounts for property management companies.
• Assisted Audit Partners and leading Audit process from planning to completion for clients including turnover up to 25 million. Audit client were related to Property companies and Business management consultants.
• Identifying key accounting issues including accounting disclosures FRS 102,1A and accounting treatment to the partners during the preparation and finalisation of accounts and audit process.
• Reviewed and assisted draft accounts prepared by junior member of team and liaise with client in accounting and audit process.
• The Software used was CCH Accounts Productions, Forbes Taxation.
