Savant are sourcing for a Group Finance Manager for a global market leader based in West London. This role offers responsibility and the ability to make real change within this global organisation.

Working directly for the Group Financial Controller and closely with the wider Finance

community to produce the Group's monthly management account, board packs, managing the group's consolidation, supporting the groups annual statutory accounting and leading change within the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Management of the month end process to ensure reporting deadlines are adhered to


• Provision of monthly consolidated management accounts incorporating P&L, Balance sheet and Cash Flow analysis with additional KPI reporting


• Highlighting and investigating trends and variances, reviewing actual versus forecast and budget analysis


• Provision of analysis of cash flow performance against Budget and investigating working capital drivers, and free cash position


• Assistance with the development of the group reporting pack to enhance monitoring performance of group operations


• Support with the development and application of applicable accounting policies ensuring ongoing compliance by subsidiaries


• Supporting the Group Financial Controller with developments and improvements with the use of Hyperion


• Working with the Head of FP&A to ensure that budget data is complete and robust


• Preparation of the year end statutory accounts for all Head Office companies, dealing with Auditors' queries and providing appropriate level of information to enable taxation matters to be resolved

The candidate:

• Qualified accountant (ACA) with up to 4 years PQE


• Exposure to International Groups with consolidation experience


• Technical accounting knowledge, including up-to-date knowledge of IFRS


• High order Microsoft Excel skills


• Pragmatic, deadline - orientated approach to the production of monthly reporting packs while maintaining accuracy and technical competence


• Team player able to build effective working relationships with Head Office Finance and wider country finance teams


• Ability to discuss and communicate financial and operational information with non-financial managers


• Demonstrate good analytical skills with a good commercial focus with the ability to understand business strategy, identify and interpret financial trends.
