Our client, the UK's leading organisation in its sector, seeks a Management Accountant for its head office accounting team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will provide business partnering and accounting support to the business including creation of high quality monthly reports, analysis and commentary on performance for review with departmental heads and other execs. Your work will enable the senior management team to make sound financial decisions.
You will be involved in a broad range of work including involvement in the production of quarterly forecast and annual budget, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, production of statutory accounts and supporting the wider group services team with the accurate and timely submissions of all reporting.
This is a broad position requiring a qualified accountant with solid management accounting experience; someone who is capable of working with and influencing people at all levels within the business.

Skills / Experience / Attributes:

• Qualified accountant -CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent


• Strong previous experience as a Management Accountant


• Capable or working with and influencing people at all levels within the business


• Strong analytical and communication skills


• Good IT knowledge and proven Excel skills


• Experience of working to tight deadlines and managing a busy workload


• Experience of preparing statutory accounts would be beneficial
