Working with a global FTSE 250 business this position offers the right person a fantastic platform on which to add value and further their career. The position of Financial Accountant is available on a 6 month contract with a view to extend.

This is a high profile role within a large commercial business offering scope for further opportunities as they review and change some of their finance structures and reporting lines.

Daily duties will include:

• Significant bank and balance sheet reconciliation work across EMEA region


• High level of investigation and analysis of historic accounts


• Suggesting and implementing new controls and process


• Liaising with UK and European counterparts, both finance and non-finance staff


• Involvement in balance sheet analysis and cash-flow reporting


• Journal preparation


• Daily use of ERP package and MS Excel

This role would suit either Qualified or Part Qualified applicants with extensive reconciliation and financial accounting experience. Skills:

Extensive financial or management accounting experience. Either fully qualified or part way through ACCA or CIMA studies.
