Financial Accountant

Salary: £32000 - £35000 per annum


  • Year-end preparation including but not limited to preparing allocated balance sheet reconciliations and all subsidiary companies for example payroll accruals, prepayments, and indemnity insurance

  • Following up on balance sheet queries through to completion

  • Investigate and clear UK intercompany mismatches

  • Analyse the intercompany revenue and expenditure transactions for the transfer pricing matrix for 2018 and 2019

  • Assisting with VAT queries and returns

  • Assisting with clearing bank reconciling items

  • Day to day banking

  • Checking coding and approving ad hoc payment transfers

  • Ad hoc projects and reporting



This position requires a professional person who can forge relationships and can demonstrate:



  • Part qualified accountant with one of the major professional bodies or QBE

  • High level computer literacy, particularly Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)

  • Wide practical experience of management accounts work

  • A drive for accuracy and completeness

  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organisation.

  • Prior experience of Oracle would be an advantage.

Part Qualified Accountant for a media company based in South West London - 3 month contract in the first instance.
