Salary: £80000 - £100000.00 per annum + plus £8k car allowance, bonus, health

Our client is a household name in the sporting world with a reputation for high class entertainment. Operating at the forefront of their field, they pride themselves on being technologically proficient, commercially savvy and an employer of choice. After a number of successful years they are now looking to bring in a new Head of Finance to lead thier finance funtion and take a seat on the board. The role will report to the CEO and will suit somebody looking to forge their finance career within the sporting industry.

Your duties will include but not be restricted to:

• Leading and developing a small finance team


• Development of system and processes to ensure efficient running of the Finance function and its integration with other IT systems


• Production of management information, financial planning and performance analysis


• Cash flow forecasting and budgeting


• Statutory and financial reporting


• Treasury & tax compliance


• Ad hoc project work on leases, contracts and system


• Attending and reporting at monthly Operations Board Meetings and quarterly Group Board Meetings


• Liaising with external auditors.


• Appointment as Company Secretary.

To be considered for this role you MUST be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified. You MUST also have a demonstrable interest in sports and have experience of leading finance teams. This role will ideally suit someone that started their career at a chartered accountancy firm and has since worked in a commercial company linked to the gaming, sporting or Media industries.
