A rapidly expanding services business based in Central London, is looking to appoint a qualified Finance Manager to their leadership team. They currently have circa 40 employees in the UK and a turnover in excess of £5m. The role has been created as a result of significant growth over the last 2 years, meaning that they now need to appoint their first full-time Finance Manager. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be involved in all financially related matters including but not limited to:
- Finance-based projects, such as enhancements to the finance systems and other development projects.
- Price proposals and requests for work, working with commercial teams in client organisations to set up pieces of work, resolving queries and ensure that everything is set up to help invoicing and reporting run smoothly.
- Compilation of Company statutory accounts
- preparation of budgets with senior managers
- Liaison with tax advisors.
- Preparing VAT return
- Preparation of quarterly reporting pack for review by Directors and attendance at board meetings.
- Reconciliation of all control accounts to supporting records.
- Liaising with HR team to ensure salaries are paid accurately and on a timely basis
- Reviewing expenses submitted by staff and preparing payment.
- Reviewing AP & AR and management of Finance Assistant.
- Undertake key commericial projects including Office space, systems, external relationships and the implementation of processes & controls.
To be considered for this role you MUST be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified. You MUST also have experience across all of the above areas gained within an SME (T/O less than £40m). You MUST also possess advanced communication and presentations skills and be looking to support a growing business.
