Work for a £400m T/O business renowned for their quality within the Food & Beverage indusrty. This is a high profile role, dealing with senior stakeholders, therefore building strong relationships and excellent analytical skills (excel) are essential parts of this role. You will mentor 2 Analysts and work as part of growing commercial department, challenged with continuous improvement and increased value add.
You will be fully engaged in compiling budgets and forecasts as well as ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions, business cases and bid development - ensuring the business understands how internal and external influences will impact the business and making the best decisions.
Your work will include but not be limited to:
Understanding and challenging current business practice, identifying and
implementing initiatives to improve process and deliver business growth
objectives.
Partnering with business leads to prepare full annual budgets, and periodic
forecasts.
Detailed financial analysis and presentation of financial information to support
decision making.
Identify and drive financial efficiency ensuring the correct allocation of resource.
Provide forward looking insight utilising experience of the past, and using financial and business skills.
Undertake contract profitability analysis, providing insight to operational teams on opportunities and risks.
Develop business cases and support the bid process for new business.
To be considered for this role you MUST be CIMA, ACCA, ACA (or equivalent) qualified and have previous experience in budgeting, forecasting and providing meaningful analysis. You MUST also be able to communicate and present at the executive level.
