Savant are currently recruiting for an Outsourcing Senior for our client, a Top 20 Accountancy Practice based within Central London. This role will be working within the Business Services team, working predominantly with Sports and Media clients.

Outsourcing Senior duties and responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing processing work on Xero, Sage 50 and other accounting software


• Agreeing and executing payment runs on clients' behalf using a variety of online banking platforms


• Preparing / reviewing VAT returns and EC Sales Lists (depending on level of complexity)


• Preparing management accounts, including reconciling all key account balances and tailoring the presentation specific to each client


• Carrying out and reviewing ad hoc tasks such as cash flows, budgets and information for 3rd parties


• Maintaining relationships with clients and taking ownership of projects / tasks as appropriate


• Monitoring budgets and reporting to managers

The ideal Outsourcing Senior candidate:

• Must be a Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACA (or equivalent)


• Will be from an accountancy practice background


• A good knowledge of Excel would be preferable, and knowledge of Xero and Sage 50 is essential.


• Understanding of other accounting systems, including cloud-based systems such as QuickBooks Online and Sage One, would be helpful, but is not an essential requirement.
