My client is a successful multi-site entity and they are looking to recruit a qualified accountant into this Finance Manager role. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the role is focused on controls, as well as maintaining balance sheet integrity, efficient monthly and year end period close and external tax reporting.

The role includes the delivery of robust financial reports, meeting all group deadlines, review internal processes and controls and improving systems. You will also manage all tax issues including VAT, corporation tax and the associated returns.

Duties:

• Monthly balance sheet review and reconciliation


• Year end preparation


• Assist in statutory reporting


• VAT


• Corporation tax returns

You will be a qualified accountant with strong statutory accounting and tax knowledge. You will have the ability to review processes and make improvements, whilst hitting the routine deadlines. You will have excellent communications skills and be able to forge key relationships and influence across the various sites.
