My client is a mid-sized, successful and growing entity with a complex structure and established finance team. They are looking to recruit a qualified accountant for this newly-established role.

The role will support the annual group statutory reporting process including the running of the year end audit, driving the set-up of the new accounts software and ensuring the timely production of the statutory accounts for both the group and individual entities, including dormant subsidiaries. You will also support the wider finance function with reporting of company results. Duties include:

• Managing and producing the statutory financial information


• Support for the Auditors including lead schedules


• Manage relationship with business to ensure that audit inputs are defined and delivered as agreed


• Some month end responsibilities including balance sheet reconciliations, consolidation journals and support with acquisition accounting.


• Devise and implement new systems and processes
