Financial Planning Analyst for a market leading (and growing) self storage manufacturer based in Twickenham paying up to 65k

Your new business:

You'll be working for one of the largest self storage companies in the world, US owned and going through a period of substantial growth and looking for an enthusiastic individual to help drive the business.

Your new role:

You'll be working as a Financial Planning Analyst and will be responsible for improving the business's financial status by reviewing and providing insight on objectives. To monitor variances, identify trends and interpret comparative data, and through doing so to be able to recommend actions to management.

Duties include:

• Creating, maintaining and improving the quote model, delivering ongoing training to colleagues on the quote model


• Producing dashboards and generating regular reports in terms of potential performance, risk, support and opportunities


• Planning and forecasting for future revenues and margins based on revenue recognition accounting principles, reporting on project profitability


• Facilitating reporting automation where possible in order to support group consolidation across international entities, including integration with our US parent


• Building management information models (financial and non-financial) and associated reporting processes


• Preparing CAPEX business cases and ROI analyses, creating and monitoring KPIs


• Suggesting and implementing process improvements for both the Finance department and the wider business


• Additional ad-hoc reporting and project work

What you'll need:

You will need to be a qualified accountant with experience in FP&A. You'll need to be commercially-minded and inquisitive - confident in communicating across different levels of the business as well as an expert user of Excel, with previous experience of Excel based financial modelling. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Navision, Power BI or a similar ERP system is desirable.

In return:

You'll be paid up to 65k per annum and will work a standard hour week in an office based capacity.
