My client is a successful and growing entity based in Oxon and they are looking to recruit a qualified, or qualified by experience, accountant into this commercially-focused analytical role.

Based in the head office and working as part of a larger finance team, this Commercial Finance Manager role will focus on adding value and working with non-finance managers to improve their understanding of pricing, margins and budgets. This is a truly commercial role. Duties include:

• Analyse sales forecasts and budgets


• Help to develop pricing strategy


• Manage margins, drive profitability


• Produce accurate and insightful reports on business performance for various divisions

The successful candidate will be either a qualified accountant or qualified by experience with extensive experience of producing reports and analysing data. A strong understanding of budgets, forecasts and what information non-finance managers require to help them to understand the business is essential. You will have exceptional communications and systems skills (including advanced excel). A wider understanding of finance is essential and as such, you may have qualified in practice and possess the associated financial analysis skills. Equally, you could already be in a commercially-focused finance role and looking to take the next step in your career.
