This fast growing crypto-focused payments business, is rapidly migrating to a full banking structure and is looking to boost it's banking experience. Their objective is to bring banking experience and management bandwidth to allow the CFO to focus on overall business strategy, financial performance and fund raising.

You will need to have a strong communicative personality with the ability to manage remotely and be able to bring about change in the form of efficient Structure, Process and System Controls and Implementation.

What you will be involved with as the Head of Finance

The role of Head of Finance based in London will sit above finance and the evolving structure reporting to the Group CFO. The reason the role has been created is due to bandwidth challenges and a desire to increase banking expertise within the management team and the need to build a finance team to meet the needs of the business.

Basic Function's of the role:

Key criteria: proven ability to build a first class finance team ready for continued change: growth, funding (series B on-wards), M&A and exit readiness (IPO or sale).

Direct reports: Financial Controller, FP & A Manager, Product Control Manager (and related teams)

Minimum Requirements for the position

• Qualified Chartered Accountant

• Prior relevant experience in a regulated banking environment within a Senior Finance Lead role

• Strong in product control, cost control, treasury and reporting

• Strong regulatory reporting/conduct risk knowledge

• Experience building financial controls, systems and processes

• Strong leadership, change and people management (migrating us from a start up towards a firm but fair banking culture) experience

• German language skills important / advantageous

• Net suite experience helpful
