Group Accountant/Finance Manager

Salary: £60000.00 - £70000.00 per annum + Bens

My client is a busy, market-leading entity and I am supporting them with the recruitment of this senior Group Accountant vacancy. This is an excellent role for a technically-strong, qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with knowledge of statutory accounts and tax.


The position is within an established, highly knowledgeable and experienced team. This role will focus on the preparation and delivery of the Group's monthly financial reporting and year-end financial statements and the groups tax compliance (Corporate Tax and VAT). Duties will include:



  • Manage all aspects of financial reporting

  • Working with the Group FC on tax compliance

  • Implementing statutory reporting regulations (IFRS)

  • Be involved in ongoing systems and process improvement projects


The role is ideal for a practice-trained accountant however, you may alternatively have qualified in a commercial entity and have strong statutory reporting knowledge. You will have the ability to work on complex finance issues including dealing with multi-entity and multi-currency challenges. You will have excellent communication skills as this role works with both internal and external stakeholders.
