I am supporting a dynamic, international technology company based in Bracknell, to recruit a qualified Financial Controller. The organisation has enjoyed significant growth and this role will further strengthen their already-established finance team.
The role will report to the Finance Director and be responsible for the hands-on management of the finance team, as well as running the end-to-end operational finance processes and procedures. The Financial Controller will be responsible for a small team, oversee all reconciliations, ledger and month-end reporting, as well as the production of management accounts, working with the external audit partners and supporting the Finance Director in the production of the statutory accounts. This is a diverse, multi-entity, international company and as such, there will be group-level responsibilities including intercompany and the production of consolidated accounts. You will take the lead in the continued improvement of processes and systems and play a key role in further establishing finance as an essential business partner within the organisation.
Duties include:
You will be a qualified accountant and able to work in a busy, complex entity. You will have managed a team and have the knowledge and experience required to run the end-to-end finances of the business. You will have strong technical accounting knowledge and excellent systems skills.
