Financial Planning Analyst

Financial Planning Analyst for a market leading (and growing) self storage manufacturer based in TW2 paying up to 75k



Your new business:


You'll be working for an international self storage company, US owned and going through a period of substantial growth, looking for a hands on individual to help drive the business.



In return:


You'll be paid a competitive salary of up to 75k per annum and will work a standard hour week (can be flexible) in an office based capacity. Great company culture, excellent coffee machine and Foosball table.



Your new role:


You'll be working as a Financial Planning Analyst and will be responsible for improving the business's financial status by reviewing and providing insight on objectives. To monitor variances, identify trends and interpret comparative data, and through doing so to be able to recommend actions to management.


Duties include:



  • Creating, maintaining and improving the quote model, delivering ongoing training to colleagues on the quote model

  • Producing dashboards and generating regular reports in terms of potential performance, risk, support and opportunities

  • Planning and forecasting for future revenues and margins based on revenue recognition accounting principles, reporting on project profitability

  • Facilitating reporting automation where possible in order to support group consolidation across international entities, including integration with our US parent

  • Building management information models (financial and non-financial) and associated reporting processes

  • Preparing CAPEX business cases and ROI analyses, creating and monitoring KPIs

  • Suggesting and implementing process improvements for both the Finance department and the wider business

  • Additional ad-hoc reporting and project work



What you'll need:


You will need to be experienced in senior FP&A activities, commercially-minded and inquisitive - confident in communicating across different levels of the business as well as an expert user of Excel, with previous experience of Excel based financial modelling. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Navision, Power BI or a similar ERP system is desirable.
