Group Financial Controller - Oxfordshire with Hybrid working

Our client, a world-renowned biotech business at an exciting stage in its evolution, seeks a Group Financial Controller for its UK head office team.

The business has gone through an exciting and rapid period of change including a successful Series B fundraising round and an IPO in the US, together with developing a well-known drug with global distribution and application.

As a key member of the finance team, the Group Financial Controller is responsible for the Group financials under US GAAP for the Plc as well as working closely on SEC filings for quarterly and annual reporting. In addition, you will be involved in Group tax compliance and transfer pricing work, and assisting the CFO with key projects, including the implementation of SOx controls.

Skills/experience

• Qualified accountant with prior experience in monthly financial close activities


• Group consolidations experience


• Strong technical accounting knowledge including US GAAP, UK GAAP and IFRS


• Managerial or supervisory experience


• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) requirements


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
