UK Financial Controller - Oxfordshire with Hybrid working

Our client, a world-renowned biotech business at an exciting stage in its evolution, seeks a UK Financial Controller for its UK head office team.
The business has gone through an exciting and rapid period of change including a successful Series B fundraising round and an IPO in the US, together with developing a well-known drug with global distribution and application.

As a key member of the finance team, the UK Financial Controller is responsible for the UK financials for the UK entities. You will report to the Group Financial Controller, working closely together for the month end internal reporting, and external Group quarterly and annual reporting. In addition, you will be involved in key projects, including the implementation of SOx controls.

Skills/experience

• Qualified accountant with prior experience in monthly financial close activities


• 'Straight from' a top-tier practice or with industry experience


• Strong technical accounting knowledge including UK GAAP and IFRS


• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) requirements


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
