My client is a successful PE-backed SME in the professional services sector based near Bracknell (hybrid working). They are looking to recruit a qualified accountant into this Financial Controller/Head of Finance role.
The organisation has enjoyed significant growth and has in recent years acquired a number of separate entities that have further developed their service offering. The finance team has remained small however, they are now looking to add to the team to enable it to support future operations as they become more complex and demanding.
The Head of Finance/Financial Controller will manage a small team and be responsible for the end-to-end finance processes and procedures. You will ensure that the month-end runs smoothly and all deadlines are achieved. You will produce and present the management accounts, support the wider business by providing insightful commentary and analysis and be the main point of contact for external audits. Duties include:
You will be a qualified accountant and enjoy the hands-on approach associated with a fast-moving SME. You will be comfortable managing a team and helping to develop processes and procedures. This is an excellent role that will allow you to make a contribution to the wider organisation.
