Are you an ambitious Tax Analyst! My client is a leading gaming company on a mission to create the most thrilling and trusted gaming experience for our customers. With a global family of renowned brands, my client is committed to transforming the gaming sector and setting new standards.


I am seeking a talented Tax Analyst for my clients Midlands-based team and you will be able to play a vital role in ensuring our group meets its direct tax obligations while delivering accurate and timely tax information to the business.

As a key member of our Midlands-based Tax Compliance & Reporting team, you'll collaborate with a team of 25 tax professionals, guiding us towards unprecedented success in the gaming industry. Your role will encompass:


Tax Compliance and Reporting:



  • Lead the preparation of UK corporate tax returns, contributing to tax calculations and disclosures for group accounts and UK subsidiaries.

  • Handle diverse tax matters, including capital gains, double tax relief claims, corporate interest restrictions, tax loss management, and more.

  • Ensure timely processing and actioning of HMRC correspondence.

  • Prepare withholding tax calculations, returns, and treaty relief claims.

  • Provide valuable support in employment tax areas, such as salary sacrifice arrangements and expenses policies.

  • Foster Entain's corporation tax governance and control environment, aiding in the group's Senior Accounting Officer filings.


Drive Innovation and Growth:



  • Engage in stimulating ad hoc tax projects, navigating through dynamic regulatory landscapes.

  • Act as a distinguished ambassador for the tax team in all internal and external relationships.

Qualifications and Skills:



  • Qualified/part-qualified accountant and/or tax advisor, or relevant experience.

  • Excellent organisational skills with a knack for prioritisation and meeting deadlines.

  • Proven experience in corporation tax compliance processes for large groups.

  • Proficient in Excel and IT tools.


Desirable Skills:



  • Financial accounting skills.

  • Familiarity with tax return compliance software

  • Experience with Oracle-based systems or other tax reporting software.
