Interim Financial Controller, Transformation - Bracknell with hybrid working

Savant is supporting a growing, PE-backed business with the recruitment of an Interim Financial Controller on a day rate contract.

This role will be pivotal in enabling the successful progression and evolution of the finance team following a period of significant growth, as they continue to transform their systems and processes, ensuring they are robust and scalable as they continue to grow.

The main focus of this role will be to drive the transformation of the month end management accounts process, challenging the status quo and identifying automation opportunities, elevating the management accounts team to perform more value-add business partnering activities for the business. In addition, you will take a lead in the implementation of a financial close management software solution, ensuring that automation opportunities are maximised.

Alongside these key projects the Financial Controller will have overall responsibility for the monthly management accounts/month end close for two divisions, providing support and guidance to the Finance Manager who will manage the day to day process.
