Senior Management Accountant

We are looking for someone who has worked within a management accounting capacity to date. This would represent an excellent step forward if you are part-qualified, nearing your professional accounting qualification or is recently qualified. Hybrid working is offered as is excellent career and promotional prospects.

This role will oversee an assistant management accountant at the early stages of their accounting studies. Prior management experience is not required but a desire to lead by example is. Business partnering with senior department heads and solutions orientated with a view to improving process and decision making for the business. Involvement in the continual process, system and team improvements and timely management accounts.

Typical responsibilities:

• Prepare, review and present monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts


• Prepare models and discuss commentary regarding budget vs forecast


• Building key relationships with senior stakeholders and heads of department within the business


• Provide management information MI reports to aid with decision making and cost control


• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations


• Suggest continual process and systems improvements to enhance reporting and commentary methods


• Mentor and develop a junior member of staff

You will need to demonstrate previous management accounts experience in a fast paced and busy environment. Have solid budget and forecasting experience to draw on and strong Excel skills. If that sounds like you then please apply now to be considered.
