Finance Manager / Financial Accountant | Hertfordshire / Hybrid | Dynamic International Business | £50-60,000 + bens

An exciting opportunity has arisen at this dynamic growing international business in Hertfordshire for a Qualified Finance Manager / Financial Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a strong background in financial accounts (in practice or industry).

They are looking for a Finance Manager / Financial Accountant to work as part of the group finance function, reporting to the CFO to play a critical role in month end reporting, intercompany accounts and statutory reporting for the business.

Duties include:

• Producing month end management accounts and analysis with a strong focus on intercompany accounts


• Ensure all accounts and tax returns are filed on time, including timely delivery of the Group audit to meet banking requirements. Being the first contract for all third-party engagement providers.


• Accurate management of the Group's holding companies, including an understanding of debt and equity instruments.


• Management of the UK company secretary responsibilities


• Implement and maintain a strong control environment across all areas of finance


• Support ad-hoc group projects as required.

Key requirements includes:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).


• Experience of complicated month end reporting including intercompany accounts.


• Experience of financial controls.


• Experience of third-party engagements such as audit and tax (international experience preferable, but not essential).


• Experience of accounts consolidation process preferable.


• Experience of IFRS reporting standards Knowledge of US GAAP would be useful


• Good communication skills across all levels.
