We are working with a mid-sized US business who are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their existing and well established finance team on a temporary to permanent basis. Suitable applicants will therefore be available at short notice. On a permanent basis this role offers plenty of scope for continued growth and development and reports directly into the Finance Director.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

• Producing monthly accounts and associated financial reports


• Preparing all relevant month end journals and reconciliations


• Working closely with divisional heads and maintaining a rolling quarterly forecast


• Providing performance analysis to aid in decision making


• Support local and US reporting requirements in line with US GAAP


• Adhering to SOX compliance

This role would suit a qualified accountant, qualified by experience (QBE) or someone close to qualification who has previously worked in a business where they have been reporting to US GAAP standards. A strong background in financial accounts is a must as is a short notice period.

Skills:

Strong all-round finance experience, ideally within a medium sized US owned business where you would have worked with US GAAP.
