We at Savant are managing this search for a Senior Private Client Tax Manager on behalf of our esteemed UK top 10 client in accounting services.

Job Description and Personal Specification:

Skills and Expertise:
The firm seeks a qualified professional with a robust background in advising on diverse tax matters. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in the following areas:

Technical Competence:
- Holds professional qualifications such as CTA or equivalent, coupled with demonstrable relevant experience.
- Demonstrates an advanced understanding of key private client tax issues, including legislation pertaining to personal tax anti-avoidance.
- Proficient in reporting on tax implications related to the incorporation of self-employment and businesses.
- Hands-on experience in Self-Assessment and preparing tax computations.
- Capable of effectively engaging with HMRC on intricate matters concerning clients.
- Proven track record in report writing and providing ad hoc advisory services.
- Previous experience in supervisory and managerial roles, including overseeing the work of others.
- Familiarity with UK Trusts and Estates, and experience in preparing and reviewing UK trust accounts is desirable.

Client Engagement:
- Extensive experience working with private clients and proprietors of owner-managed businesses, including self-employed individuals, partnerships, and small companies.
- Familiarity with UK and non-UK based high net worth individuals.
- Exposure to non-UK domiciled and non-resident clients, ideally including non-UK resident trusts.
- Experience working with property-owning clients utilising corporate vehicles and trusts.
