Interim Fixed Assets Project Accountant - 6 months - Oxford with hybrid working


Our client, a leading organisation in its field, seeks an Interim Fixed Assets Accountant for a key project.


Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, the Interim Fixed Assets Accountant will be responsible for reviewing and, where necessary, redefining the fixed assets processes.


You will ensure the recording of the cost of newly acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible), tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets is accurate. You will also liaise with operational leaders to understand their buying process and subsequent recording of assets and assigning of those items to particular projects.
As part of this project, you work with the systems consultant to define the business's requirements to be able to report quickly on its assets by project or revenue stream.
Applicants should be fully qualified with strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting and reporting under FRS15. Prior project management experience would be beneficial.
Due to the nature of the role, only candidates available in 2 weeks or less can be considered.
