Savant is proud to support Glide in its search for a Finance Director.
Glide is a market-leading Private-Equity backed broadband & infrastructure business, delivering connectivity in student and built-to-rent accommodation and business sectors.
Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Director will play a pivotal role in managing and developing the finance function as the business grows
Duties include forging and maintaining third-party relationships with banks and external advisors, managing all aspects of banking and credit facilities, leading the audit process, statutory reporting, production of internal reports and management accounts and supporting the wider business through the provision of timely and accurate information.
Additionally, this role will deliver and develop the company's accounting policies and procedures. The Finance Director will ensure the financial framework and processes are followed. This role will encompass the management of operational accounting and FP&A activities.
Duties include:
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience of managing finance functions in fast-moving, dynamic organisations. They will have excellent systems and analytical skills, and have the ability to work at a cross-functional level. Experienced in owning relationships with external partners including banks is essential.
This is an exciting role in a dynamic and challenging work environment. Glide operates a hybrid working model and this role will be based in Clevedon, with occasional visits to other offices as required.
