UK Finance Manager - Maternity cover - Fixed-term contract 9-12 months

Savant is supporting a leading organisation in its field with the recruitment of a UK Accounting Manager to cover maternity leave. 9-12 month FTC.

This role is pivotal in preparing and delivering monthly financial reports for their UK operations, including close collaboration with the Group Accountant to ensure accurate and timely Group Financial Reporting.
Managing a small team, you will lead the preparation of monthly consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow reporting for internal management reporting purposes for the Group's UK and US operating entities, including P&L analytical reviews.
In addition, you will work with external tax advisors to prepare corporate income tax returns for all UK operating entities.
Applicants should come from a strong financial reporting background and have experience in producing Group accounts under IFRS. Due to the nature of the position, only candidates available on 2 weeks' notice or less will be considered.

Skills and experience:

• Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent


• Experience working in Group multi-currency environments and a strong background in external reporting under IFRS.


• Strong communication and team leadership skills


• Able to work to tight deadlines & within a busy environment.


• Advanced Excel skills, and working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.


• Experience with Dynamics AX or similar ERP systems
