Interim Year-End Accountant - 6 month contract (day rate via Umbrella)

Savant is supporting a leading organisation in its field with the recruitment of an Interim Year-End Accountant to support the business through year-end.

This role will support the Financial Controller and Senior Group Accountant in preparing and delivering monthly financial reports for the various Group entities, to ensure accurate and timely Group Financial Reporting.
You will be involved in the preparation of monthly consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow reporting for internal management reporting purposes for the Group's UK and US operating entities, including P&L analytical reviews.
You will support the audit process, providing information and analysis as required.
Applicants should come from a strong financial reporting background and have experience in producing Group accounts under IFRS. Due to the nature of the position, only candidates available on 2 weeks' notice or less will be considered.

Skills and experience:

• Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent


• Experience working in Group multi-currency environments and a strong background in external reporting under IFRS.


• Strong communication and team leadership skills


• Able to work to tight deadlines & within a busy environment.


• Advanced Excel skills, and working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.


• Experience with Dynamics AX or similar ERP systems
