My client is a leading technology company based in Newbury. Due to continued growth and success, they are looking to recruit a qualified accountant for this Head of Finance Business Partnering position.

The role will lead the support of internal business functions from a finance perspective and sit with the senior management team providing advice, guidance and management information.

This is a newly created role as before now, the wider finance team has been responsible for budgeting, forecasting and planning information provided to the senior leadership team. This individual will bring together existing processes and also look to improve reporting and strengthen the relationship between finance and the wider business.

Duties include:

• Meeting with C-suite directors and supporting business decisions


• Providing advice and guidance on the financial implications of strategy decisions


• Managing various projects and company-wide strategies


• Producing insightful management information


• Leading a small team

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a track record of supporting and influencing exec-level managers. They will have worked at a cross-functional level and developed and implemented processes and procedures. This is a senior role in a dynamic and complex company and the individual will be equally dynamic, ambitious and able to operate at the senior level.
