Private Client Senior Tax Manager

Our Client offers a wide range of professional services including audit, accounts, tax, corporate finance, insolvency services. With their main head office location in London and a South-East basis our client is a well established successful firm, looking for individuals to join their established and reputable organisation. Their teams deliver quality results locally and internationally as part of their Global network.

The Private Client Senior Manager role is a key role within the office where you will be client facing and deal with a vast portfolio of professional advisors and hit net-worth clientele, reporting into the Private client director/partner.

The role will be joining an exciting and growing team whereby you will be actively managing the delivery of the private client offering, including process improvements and efficiency suggestions. It will also involve mentoring the team and assisting to develop their soft skills and technical training.

Key Responsibilities:

• A key point of contact for the clients.


• Provide support to partners and directors in the effective running of the team and in winning new work


• Managing a portfolio, consisting of a mix of clients with multiple sources of earned and investment income.


• Driving the delivery of technical advisory work on the portfolio.


• Dealing with one off advisory and compliance assignments & Dealing with partnerships and high net worth individuals.


• Dealing with a wide range of capital gains tax issues.


• Overseeing the UK tax return filling process for a broad variety of clients.


• Monitoring team progress against targets.

Skills required

• CTA qualified/ or other professional qualification


• Experience of advising on a wide range of tax issues


• Advanced understanding of private client tax relating to tax issues, personal tax and anti avoidance legislation


• Confidently interact with HMRC with complex issues.


• Previous supervisory and management experience including reviewing of work.


• Desirable UK Trust & Estate experience
