Finance Manager - High Growth Business - Hybrid

Are you a qualified ACA or ACCA finance professional looking for a broad and hands-on role in a fast-paced, high growth scale-up UK and international business? We're seeking a technically strong Finance Manager to take ownership of statutory reporting, tax compliance, and financial control across UK and international operations.

This is a really exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, product-based company operating across retail and manufacturing sectors. The role offers exposure to a wide variety of responsibilities in a collaborative and fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements in line with UK GAAP (FRS 102) and support consolidated group reporting.
  
  


• Manage statutory audits, liaising with external auditors and advisors.
  
  


• Oversee UK and international tax compliance, including preparation of VAT returns, EC sales lists, and support for corporation tax and overseas filings.
  
  


• Maintain robust balance sheet controls, including reconciliations of key accounts, fixed assets, and intercompany balances.
  
  


• Support the development of financial processes, ERP improvements, and internal control enhancements.
  
  


• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insight and analysis where required.

Skills/Requirements:

• ACA or ACCA qualified accountant.
  
  


• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and statutory reporting.
  
  


• Proven experience in VAT preparation and a good understanding of UK and international tax.
  
  


• Proficient in Excel with solid experience using ERP/accounting systems.
  
  


• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  
  


• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
