I'm working with a leading PE-backed organisation based near Bracknell, Berkshire, that's experiencing sustained growth. They're now looking for a qualified Statutory Reporting & Tax Accountant to join their Group Finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in audit or group reporting to take ownership of statutory and tax processes in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

Key Focus Areas:

• Preparation of annual consolidated statutory accounts and subsidiary financial statements


• Leading the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors


• Preparing monthly consolidated balance sheets and cash flows


• Responsibility for supporting corporation tax computations, deferred tax and VAT


• Supporting tax compliance across acquisitions and structural changes
  
  

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified accountant. Exposure to audit would be beneficial. However, experience in financial reporting and tax in a corporate environment would be considered


• Solid understanding of UK GAAP, group consolidation, and technical accounting


• Hands-on experience preparing/auditing statutory accounts


• Exposure to corporation tax, VAT, and transfer pricing


• Strong Excel skills and ability to work independently
