Savant is supporting a growing organisation with the search for an experienced and hands-on Interim Accountant to join their Oxford-based finance team on an initial 6-month interim contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive finance professional to contribute to key reporting, forecasting and system improvement activities during a busy period of transformation.
Support month-end processes, including preparation and posting of recurring and ad hoc journals.
Perform supplier and balance variance analysis, and assist in the production of management accounts.
Update management accounts and forecast workbooks, ensuring accurate departmental inputs.
Support accounts payable activity - processing invoices and preparing payments for approval.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and provide supporting documentation for audit.
Run reports and provide transactional and analytical support to the wider finance team.
(Potentially) Take ownership of the day-to-day financials for a smaller subsidiary entity.
Depending on experience, the role may also include:
Preparing technical workings for share-based payments, leases and convertible loans.
Supporting project budget tracking and providing business partnering insight to operational teams.
Qualified, part-qualified or QBE with solid experience in a finance or management accounting role.
Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working independently and engaging with non-finance colleagues.
Available at short notice and able to commit to a 6-month assignment.
