Senior Fixed Asset Accountant

We're looking for a Senior Fixed Asset Accountant to lead the effective delivery of fixed asset accounting processes across a large and complex portfolio for a large, growing organisation.

In this key role, you'll ensure accurate reporting, strong financial controls and compliance with FRS102 and Housing SORP standards. You'll also play a vital part in statutory reporting, audit preparation, and improving systems and processes across the finance function.

  Maintain and enhance the fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  Deliver timely reconciliations, monthly reporting and analysis.

  Support annual statutory accounts and external audits.

  Drive process improvements and contribute to finance transformation projects.

  
  


• 
  

  Act as the subject matter expert on fixed asset policies and controls.

  
  

About you

You're a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong experience in fixed asset accounting - ideally within a housing association or large asset-owning business. You'll bring a deep understanding of fixed asset controls, excellent Excel skills and a proactive, improvement-focused mindset.

Experience with Workday, Agresso/SUN or Asset 4000 is an advantage.
