Salary: £65000.00 - £70000.00 per annum + excellent benefits, hybrid
Take full ownership of the month-end process, including KPI analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead the delivery of quarterly, interim, and final audits across Group entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth coordination.
Oversee preparation of statutory accounts and regulatory submissions, producing timely, high-quality outputs.
Support the Finance Director across all areas of accounting, deputising when required.
Ensure accurate monthly recording and reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
Conduct analytical reviews, providing clear insights to senior management and key committees.
Develop and manage the year-end audit timetable, fostering effective collaboration across teams.
Stay up to date with technical accounting standards and implement required updates.
Build strong relationships across Finance and the wider organisation to enhance processes, controls, and reporting.
Lead, mentor, and develop your team, promoting a culture of excellence, learning, and continuous improvement.

Essential:
Fully qualified CCAB accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, or equivalent).
Experience preparing statutory accounts and leading audits.
Strong understanding of financial control frameworks and accounting standards.
Demonstrated ability to manage, lead, and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Proficient in Excel; experience with ERP's D365, and Power BI is desirable.
