Bid Modeller/ Senior Commercial Analyst

Salary: Up to £100000.00 per annum

Our client, operating in a busy, growing, and innovative sector, is seeking an experienced Bid Modeller/Senior Commercial Analyst to join their hybrid team in Berkshire. This role offers first-hand exposure to project finance, private equity, and M&A activities. It requires a proactive, ambitious individual who can work independently while integrating into a multi-functional team.


The successful candidate will combine strong analytical skills, financial modelling expertise, and commercial acumen to support strategic investment and financing decisions.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models to support project investment decisions.

  • Perform scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessments to inform commercial strategy.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional commercial teams, building strong relationships to align financial and operational objectives.

  • Lead preparation and presentation of investment proposals and financial packages for stakeholders.

  • Support acquisitions, investments, and commercial negotiations with clear, data-driven insights.



Candidate Requirements:



  • Relevant financial qualification with extensive experience in financial modelling.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial data to support strategic decisions.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with excellent communication skills across all levels.
