We're partnering with a private-equity backed, fast-growing and acquisitive business to recruit a Finance Business Partner / Commercial Finance Manager. This is a high-impact role, sitting at the heart of commercial decision-making and working closely with the CFO and Director of FP&A during an exciting phase of scale and value creation.


This is not a traditional reporting role. The successful candidate will be a true finance business partner, combining strong technical foundations with commercial instinct, influencing capability and the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders.


The Role


As Finance Business Partner / Commercial Finance Manager, you will:




  • Act as a key partner to the CFO and Director of FP&A, supporting strategic decision-making across the business




  • Drive the FP&A agenda, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and scenario modelling




  • Deliver commercial insight that improves performance, profitability and capital allocation




  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders across operations, sales and leadership to influence outcomes




  • Lead financial analysis on growth initiatives, including acquisitions, integrations and investment cases




  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insight for non-finance leaders




  • Help evolve planning, reporting and forecasting processes in a scaling, PE-backed environment




The Ideal Candidate




  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA)




  • Strong background in commercial finance, FP&A or finance business partnering




  • Ideally experience working in a PE-backed, acquisitive or transformational environments is highly desirable




  • Confident engaging and challenging senior stakeholders, with a solutions-focused mindset




  • Commercially sharp, analytically strong and comfortable operating in ambiguity




  • Ambitious, hands-on and excited by building and improving rather than maintaining the status quo
