Financial Accountant | Growing Business | High Wycombe

I am currently supporting a fast-paced, fast-growing, technology-led, private-equity backed business operating across multiple sites in the UK in their search for a Financial Accountant to join their finance team in a hybrid role based in High Wycombe

Reporting into the Financial Controller, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong finance/accounting background to join an evolving business environment and play a key role across financial reporting, month-end and wider finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ownership of key month-end tasks including revenue journals, prepayments, accruals, and fixed assets
* Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
* Complete bookkeeping for smaller trading entities within the group
* Preparation of monthly employee sales commission calculations
* Preparation of client commission statements
* Supporting the finance team through the annual audit process
* Assisting with the preparation of annual statutory accounts
* Producing financial analysis and KPI reporting for the Director of Finance and CFO
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes
* Working within a fast-paced, growing business environment and adapting to changing priorities

Key Requirements:

* Strong finance/accounting background (qualified by experience or part-qualified)
* Strong Excel skills essential
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central highly desirable
* A proactive mindset with an interest in continuous improvement, AI and automation in finance
* Comfortable working in a fast-moving, acquisitive and growing business environment
