A fast-growing, private equity-backed business with an ambitious acquisition strategy is seeking a qualified accountant to join its Finance Integration team.

This is a unique, project-focused role sitting outside of the traditional finance function. Acting as the first finance representative within newly acquired businesses, you'll assess existing processes, controls, systems, and reporting before leading the early stages of integration and transition into the wider group.

Working closely with senior leadership and acquisition teams, you'll help deliver successful integration's, drive process improvements, strengthen financial controls, and support the delivery of acquisition value.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the initial finance integration of newly acquired businesses


• Reviewing finance processes, controls, systems, and reporting


• Developing and delivering integration and transition plans


• Supporting system migrations and reporting standardisation


• Identifying risks, efficiencies, and value creation opportunities


• Building strong relationships with acquired management teams and internal stakeholders

The successful candidate will be an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA-qualified accountant. Experience in acquisitions, integrations, finance transformation, or systems implementation would be beneficial but not essential, as a good grounding in the main finance tasks will be the main focus of the skills required.
