Team Savant had a blast finding unusual places to sleep out in support of the Action for Children “Boycott Your Bed” initiative this past Friday, 9th July 2021.

It was an incredibly successful night reaching 3,126 people across the UK and raising £145,000 and counting for children and families in need. Whether you attended of not, remember it is never too late to donate at: https://www.justgiving.com/team/TeamSavantByB2021

A Night of Virtual Fun for All

The night began with family entertainment at 6pm and ended with fun for grown ups via a virtual livestream for all attendees. The show featured many stars and TV personalities you might recognize!

• Hosts Lydia Bright and Jake Quickenden welcomed us and kicked off the night. 
• Strictly dancers, Giovanni Pernice and Luba Mushtuk, gave a jive tutorial.
• Jessica Hynes hosted a Horrible Histories Quiz, testing our trivia knowledge.
• We got our adrenaline pumping with host, Jake, leading the Boycott Your Bed Games.
• Laura Hamilton & Angela Rippon shared bedtime stories to close out the children’s entertainment.

• When we returned, Magician Dynamo left us spellbound with some amazing magic tricks.
• Shane Richie tested our trivia, leading the Boycott Your Bed quiz.
• Stars from the West End performed a variety of show-stopping musical numbers.
• Finally, DJ Charlotte de Carle sent us off with a musical set before we went to Boycott Our Beds.

Throughout the night we also met a variety of other sleepers from different locations around the UK. Could you imagine camping out in Beale Wildlife Park or on the side of a cliff in a portaledge.

Bathtubs, Gardens, and Bouncy Castles, Oh My...

This year was our 5th participating in the event as a company, and it was one of our best yet! Team Savant got creative and slept out in a variety of locations: bathtub, living room floor, garden camp outs, and even a bouncy castle. 

Some team members took the opportunity to meet up and enjoy the night together. Others slept out with family for a wonderful bonding experience. Wherever we slept out last night, we are proud to continue giving back as a company to this amazing cause.
