Salesforce Industries (formerly known as Vlocity) has expanded to include 12 purpose-built industry specific clouds that cater specifically to their respective industries. These industry solutions are customisable thanks to the tools provided by the omnistudio platform. This platform’s tools allow addition to new looks and functionality to standard processes like guided selling, CPQ etc.
Omnistudio is a modular system and platform which helps design industry specific solutions on salesforce that are reusable.

1. Flex Cards
Flex cards can be configured very easily and quickly with the help of click-based components. They collect contextual information from various sources and display them in one place for users to view on any device.
2. OmniScripts
OmniScript is a descriptive tool which can guide users through complex sales and services processes. Users are able to use a drag-and-drop editor which helps them design customer interactions by creating specific sequences with its elements like Display (adding text, images), Actions (updating data, sending email), Functions (formulas, warning) etc.
3. Omnistudio DataRaptors
DataRaptors are used to help manipulate data. For example, a user may need to add, change or save new information and to enable this function, you will need to use DataRaptors that can access and transform data from other salesforce objects or external sources while making use of other Omnistudio integration procedures. When compared to other Apex classes that perform similar functions, DataRaptors are more time efficient and are easier to maintain.
4. Omnistudio Integration Procedures
Integration Procedures are click-based processes for retrieving data and information from third-party services without any additional user interaction. The server-side processing allows one to minimise client/server calls and speed up overall performance.
