What is the Metaverse?
The metaverse is a virtual reality platform and space where users are able to interact with a computer generated environment and other users in that space.
The advent of the metaverse will lead to changes in design. User experience designers will need to shift their mindset away from viewing users as simply technology users but rather active players. User Designers need to pivot towards creating an immersive virtual experience where players are enabled to live and interact with their virtual environment rather than simply viewing it.

With the Metaverse, 3D Design will naturally be at the forefront. User experience will need to be 360 along with intuitiveness. A smart move for designers will be to move from 2D sketching to 3D modelling.
