Our client is currently seeking an ambitious, Junior Business Development Executive to join their growing team with a focus in the Travel & Tourism sector. This is a permanent opportunity, based in their global head office in South West London.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for achieving monthly sales targets via proactive sales activity. The main sales focus will be selling the company's cutting edge CRM solution for businesses within the Travel sector. This will include hands-on ownership of the whole sales process, providing weekly sales updates and monthly reporting of sales activity. The role will incorporate elements of creation, organising of tailored sales proposals, delivery of sales demonstrations, handling new customer accounts and keeping up to date with products, competitors and market trends.
The ideal candidate will be proactive in outbound sales, including constant networking via phone, email, social media and in-person activities as well as developing and managing new business prospects. Sales experience is essential (preferably within the Travel sector), experience of working in a client facing role and a strong negotiator with natural ability of building / developing in a professional environment. This is an ideal role for a recent computer science graduate seeking entry into a sales role.
