Our client, a growing Pharmaceutical company, is looking for a self-motivated and proactive Senior IT Specialist to join their team in the Berkshire area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software as well as responding to queries, running diagnostic programs, isolating problems, determining and implementing solutions for the business. The Helpdesk Specialist will assist with administration of Office365 including email and SharePoint, maintain Windows Active Directory, Exchange Online and Skype for business, Users, Groups and other records as needed. The candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues relating to AV equipment and conference rooms, installing, configuring and testing computer hardware, networking software and OS software both manually and via endpoint management tools.

The candidate must be able to communicate at all levels, both technical and non-technical, be proficient with Windows 10, network peripheral configuration, management, firmware upgrades, and diagnostics, virtualization technologies as well as endpoint maintenance and demonstrable understanding of cyber security. Applicants need to have 4+ years' experience & an Undergraduate Degree or 3+ years with a Graduate Degree. MCSE, CCNA, ITIL or other industry identified certifications are preferred.
