Currently seeing a Portfolio Operation Manager for a growing company that works across a full spectrum of innovators/entrepreneurs, investors, SMEs, corporates, not for profits and public sector organisations to unlock innovation and get it into the hands of users. This role is available remotely.


This role will be responsible for ensuring the best working practices by using analytical insight to drive the best outcomes from the overall portfolio of inventions and intellectual property. Supporting the Portfolio VP in providing Portfolio Management Office (PMO) capability. Developing and managing the operational capability to determine a prioritized and balanced portfolio, capable of meeting the business and impact goals. Supporting the development of the end to end delivery model, its processes and systems. Monitoring and analysis of portfolio performance, recommending and owning opportunities to improve it. Manage and continue to develop Portfolio Management System (CRM).


Applicants should have a track record in developing new operating models and systems combined with strong operational and Business / Management Information experience, particularly visualization. A background across a diverse range of sectors and experience in agile methodology would also be very beneficial. Good MS Excel and PowerPoint skills will be essential for this role and Power BI, QlikSense or similar experience will be an advantage. An understanding of Intellectual Property Rights and the UK patent process would also be desirable. Applicants will need to gain appropriate security clearances as part of their employment.
