Salesforce Senior Admin / Superuser

The best candidate for Salesforce Super user is strong self-starter with a positive attitude and desire to grow professionally within the Salesforce ecosystem, and to use that knowledge to better the workflow within the Salesforce environment. They will gain valuable experience in being able to work with numerous people from the C-Level on down, across Sales, Marketing, Operations in helping them maximize their value out of the system.


Role Requirements


The Salesforce super user creates a link between end users and the implementation team. They should have effective communication skills, as they need to be able to support in conveying the business requirements to/from the implementation partner. They act as representatives of their departments and are also the first line of support for end users.


During the implementation cycle, super users take an active role in learning the Salesforce solution (Train the Trainer to be provided by Cognizant), support testing the system and training end users. They end up with intimate knowledge of the Salesforce business processes and become the champions of the implementation. Key aspects include:



  • Develop an understanding of the relevant core business functions across the departments

  • Support in gathering process documentation

  • Acting as a poc with end users and communicating requirements to/from the implementation team

  • Explaining and support documentation of AS IS processes

  • Understanding TO BE processes

  • Liaising with other departments as necessary i.e., sales, marketing etc

  • Support testing of business processes in Salesforce test environments

  • Training the end users, both new and existing

  • Supporting the end users as part of the adoption of new ways of working

  • Monitoring end user performance


Post-implementation:



  • Maintaining documentation



  • Consistently look for ways to improve systems for the benefit of both internal users and customers


Qualifications
Salesforce Administrator certification and, or experience is preferred.
